The Plett House has five spacious en-suite bedrooms furnished with King-size beds. Four of the rooms are located upstairs and one is downstairs. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. There are also domestic quarters for a live-in nanny or chef. The main bedroom leads onto an enclosed glass patio, with uninterrupted views of the sea and beach. There is a small kitchenette upstairs, with a Nespresso machine, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. The entertainers kitchen, situated downstairs, is well-equipped with a pantry and appliance area, walk-in cold room and separate scullery and laundry. The downstairs lounge leads onto an enclosed pool. Braai facilities are also available. The outside deck is nestled in the fynbos, under a Milkwood tree, with fairy lights. This is ideal place for sundowners and al fresco dining. In addition, there is direct access onto Hobie and Central beaches via a private walkway from the house.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
