The location and house are great if you are looking for peace and time away and a great sea view , however the house in in need of some serious attention and maintenance. The state of the house has worsened since our last visit there three years ago. The lack of a TV and the reasons given was also a perplexing as well, as there was one on our last visit, and as much as we understood the security aspect, a TV could be arranged for when visitors arrive and taken away once visitor's check out I also feel the check in and check out procedure needs to be improve, utilizing a drop box would be better suited for both arriving and departing guest's.

The Dunes had a beautiful view but the house need serious maintenance. I was disappointed to pay peak season prices bit the basics wasnt even working. One 1 of 5 of the gass stove was working. Main bathroom NO light was working. Wash up area in Kitchen, NO lights was working. Only a few downlights was working on the patio and TV room. We brought it to there attention but little effort was put in to fix it. We made piece with is and lived like it though our xmas holiday.

The Dunes was absolutely breathtaking, the view from every spot in the house is beautiful. We had loads of privacy and truly relaxed. There are some minor house maintenance needed in the form of loose fittings and plaster on the walls but all and all a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay at The Dunes again!!
