Another of Cape Town’s suburbs divided by Main Road, Claremont, is virtually synonymous with the trendy Cavendish Square, and quaint semi-detached cottages much sought after as ‘starter’ homes or for the young and single. From Cape Town city centre take the M3 exit on the left towards Muizenberg and then take exit 10 towards Claremont, Paradise Road. Take the off-ramp to the left, just after the Shell Garage, and at the traffic circle continue around and take the second turn-off into Newlands Road. Turn right into Phyllis Road and The Andros Boutique Hotel is the first entrance on the left-hand side.
