About Summerplace Game Reserve
Situated on a working farm in the Waterberg Bushveld, Summerplace Farm Stay offers tranquil and relaxing holiday accommodation in Vaalwater, with morning greetings from the farm cattle or sunset visits from wild kudu.
Self Catering Accommodation
Comfortable self catering accommodation is offered in private cottages and self catering apartments. The units are spaced apart and each have parking areas.

Activities
Enjoy activities such as hiking or cycling, or relax on the verandah with a good book and enjoy the beautiful scenery and charm of the farm around you. Mountain biking is popular and riders of all levels will have fun here. We have a great cross-country track that consists of a mix of rough single track, trails, gap jumps, drop-offs, burms and even a rock bridge.
The Area
A beautiful 1600ha prime farm land is situated in the heart of the majestic Waterberg mountains surrounded by beautiful bushveld, wildlife, farm animals and stunning views. We are located between Botswana and Johannesburg making it the ideal base from which to discover the surrounds.

A bucket list stay that did not disappoint. From the communication to the welcome, the beautiful cottage to the hiking trails, we had an amazing time at Summerplace Game Reserve. We stayed in the Marula Cottage, well equipped and have stunning views over the farm. The game gave us excellent viewings from the veranda and the porcupine hiking trail was easy to walk. Jerry stayed in touch with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and made sure to invite us to inhouse events over the weekend. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back with the rest of the family - and of course our bicycles!
