About Stornoway Lodge

Stornoway Lodge offers comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in Lanseria in a variety of accommodation options. During your stay you can take a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, swimming or fishing in the dam. Located on Green Giant Farm, in Lindley, Lanseria, we are within easy reach of a variety of must see attractions and many great activities.

Accommodation

Dark wooden furniture and contemporary African art furnish the five different styles of suites, each providing generous interior space and all modern conveniences for luxury accommodation in Lanseria.

Stornoway promises comfort, leisure and convenience with every stay. Please see the individual cottage or suite descriptions and photographs below, to assist you with your choice.

The Restaurant

Lodge breakfasts will be available every week day from 7am to 10am and weekends 7am to 10am, and a continental breakfast will be available on Monday and Tuesday.

The Fat Olive Country Restaurant provides an ideal family entertainment destination suitable for all occasions. Situated on the banks of a natural irrigation dam with expansive views of the distant Magaliesberg Mountains, the restaurant lends itself to enjoying the outdoors, birdlife and the resident wildlife.

It is common to see the Zebra family wonder up in the evening for drink or watch the blesbok herd thunder past. With over 100 species of birds recorded on the property, you are sure to spot a heron, king fisher or even a fish eagle from your table.

On Site Facilities

For the holiday makers who just want to relax, we have a swimming pool just outside our Executive and Superior Suites. Take some time to work on your tan and cool off in the crystal blue water. Afterwards you might feel like a massage. We now offer head and shoulder, full body and hand and foot massages in the privacy of your suite.

Location & Attractions

Here at Stornoway Lodge there is plenty to see and do. Take a walk around the beautifully kept grounds, you might see some of the wild life on the property, or catch a glimpse of the resident Kingfisher trying for a catch on the Lake.

We also offer complimentary canoeing on the Lake, but please be advised that this is done at own risk. We do have safety vest for small children, please ask the friendly staff for assistance when needed.

If you are a nature lover, we have a huge variety of different bird species on the property. This makes Stornoway Lodge a bird watchers paradise. We have a bird list available, so if you are interested please feel free to contact us.
