We had a wonderful stay at Stone Meadows. The dirt road drive there for the last bit was fun (we have a 4x4) and gives you the immediate feel you're going "away from it all". The Cabin we stayed in was rustic and as advertised. It was super clean and comfortable all round. There was also cell signal. I don't have any complaints, and it was good for the soul to relax for a weekend away. I honestly don't know if it's specified on the property info (I forgot to check), but note there is a gas stove top but not an oven. It's really no biggie, but since you're packing everything self-catering, it may help as regards your food planning. Take loads and loads of fire wood with, as it really is so much fun to have the fire going all the time (specially in winter!). We truly had a very relaxing time.

What an amazing weekend getaway. You have everything you need. The owners are warm and welcoming, making you feel very at home. Its very peaceful and quiet, loads of bird life and their dogs are just another reason to feel more at home. The fishing was a challenge but theres no shortage of fish as they make it painfully clear that they are there. Thanks for having us, will definitely be coming back in the future.

Elernor went out of her way to make us comfortable which resulted in a very happy weekend at Stone Meadows. We didn't catch any fish but we enjoyed trying to. Will recommend Stone Meadows to friends and family.
