Old but excellent..Staff are awesome food Is tops

Old world charm. The staff are all delightful. We really enjoyed our stay

If you want a good nights rest - better go somewhere else. Due to load shedding the generator went off - right next to our room, 100 decibel. They turned it off after we complained, but a compressor was still on, not allowing us to sleep. Why someone offers rooms with generators and compressors right next to it is beyond me. More a warehouse experience than a hotel experience. No matter if two star or five star hotel - hotel owners should know the basics of hospitality.

Helpfull, friendly service, very affordable clean room, enjoyed our night in Springbok.

I enjoyed my stay at Springbok hotel. I like the old authentic ambience of the hotel.

Petro the receptionist were very friendly and efficient as well as the rest of the staff. We decided on short notice to have supper in the hotel and it was excellent.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Dated furnishing but part of the days gone by charm. Central in town and also central to towns around to see. Will stay there again if the opportunity arises.

1. 'Select ' (bostaande) is nie aktief . 2. Met bespreking is ons nie ingelig of opsie gegun om n kamer te kies wat wel n stort het nie - met aankoms moes ons vasstel 1 kamer het slegs n bad.. Met aankoms wou ontvangsdame weet of persoon by bespreking dit dan nie genoem het nie. Nee, sy het glad nie keuse aangebied nie. Ons is ook nie n opsie gegun om kamers op 1 e vlak te kies nie- dit was glad nie deur ontvangsdame genoem tydens bespreking -LW: in April 2021 al gedoen. Ons sou graag op 1e vlak wou wees. Die aand in kroeg was sekere alkoholiese drankies (niks buitensporig) ook nie beskikbaar -'dit is nou op'. Die dame (wat ook ontvangsdame was) het egter haar bes probeer. - Die ergste was egter die nag met slaaptyd: daar is gedrink en party gehou in die gang op die 1e vloer ( klaarblyklik lede van plaaslike bevolking......) - ons moes op hul skree om stil te bly, want hul het geparty in gang. Klaarblyklik was Sekuriteit wat toe by ontvangs was DOOF..🙄. - ons sal nooit enigiemand aanbeveveel om daar te bespreek nie- defnitief nie. ---gelukkig het ons nie daar geëet nie... Hotel is defnitief nie meer soos ons dit gewoond was nie - dan eerder gastehuise.

This is a marvelous example of an old South African country hotel that has remained at a level of service and graciousness that has generally become extremely rare in this country. My wife and I are always on the lookout for genuine hospitality and for a stay that is able to take us out of the plastic conformity that now passes as 'hospitality chic'. The Springbok Hotel is a rare example of its kind. Our room was a gem, spacious and very much 'itself' - we felt happier in it than we have in any hotel in years. Staff and management seem to genuinely love what they are doing - there is an intimacy and warmth here that others try to achieve through following hotel school guidelines; here they seem to follow their own affection for people, and there is nothing that works so well as this. In short, we will be back to the Springbok hotel as our hotel of choice in Springbok, when we return to the town

Old but clean. Rooms still smell of smoke despite now being non-smoking

Tough to find with website co-ordinates. Some unfriendly staff upon welcome. Unsecure parking. BUT, had a good time in the clean little room (very affordable). Breakfast and reception room very nice. Old school wood flooring a pleasure. Perhaps get the TVs to work 100%, drop the noise level of patrons after 23h00 and show a bit more pride - place should be a goldmine👍

Wil net baie dankie se vir die lekker kuier. Ek het al in baie hotelle gebly maar Springbok HOTEL was ten verre die beste. Ek dink ook jul is meer as n twee ster. Dankie vir die twee jong bestuuders en al die goeie staff. Pieter

We went to the Hotel on the 6th June 2012 where we were recruiting for Murray and Roberts, and the hospitality that we received there was very warm amist the chilly wheathers of Northern Cape, and the treatment was homly and would like to return with my family at the Hotel.
