Solitude Cabin

Hand-built with evident care and attention to detail, the cabin has been thoughtfully designed to create an atmosphere of calm and privacy from the moment of arrival. The interior features warm, considered finishes throughout, with Egyptian cotton linen on the king-size bed and a custom sleeper couch accommodating two additional guests comfortably.

The en-suite bathroom is a particular highlight, offering both a double shower and a freestanding bath positioned to capture panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. A closed-combustion fireplace anchors the living area, providing warmth and atmosphere during the cooler months, while the fully equipped self-catering kitchen and charcoal patio braai make dining a genuinely pleasurable affair.

Wood is provided for both the fireplace and the wood-fired hot tub, which offers uninterrupted vistas of the Maluti Mountains and is best appreciated after dark, beneath an expansive Free State sky.

Modern conveniences include DStv Premium, Netflix, and stable Wi-Fi, ensuring guests remain as connected or as gloriously disconnected as they choose. Road access is suitable for high-clearance vehicles throughout the year, with a shuttle service available for added convenience.

The cabin occupies an elevated position on a secluded farm, affording sweeping 360-degree views of rugged peaks, open skies, and unspoiled natural landscapes in every direction.
