Sleep over at open gate was everything we needed after a beautiful day in the Kruger. Accommodation is clean and new, all amenities available and staff friendly ans helpful.

We were very impressed with the facilities. Very comfortabled beds after a long drive. Great quality duvets provided. Clean towels supplied, tea/coffee making facilities with mugs, tea bags, coffee sachets, powder milk and sugar. Shower cubicle clean with fabulous warm shower with a big shower head. Overall very modern. The all important air conditioning works perfectly. All units very well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. They carried the portable sturdy half drum braai over to our unit. Small shop on site as well. Only thing not provided are kitchen utensils, etc. Competitive pricing per person per night. Site safe and secure with guard at security gate. However just watch out for the Marula tree fruit at No. 18 😁. Those pesky fruit can make your head hurt. Close proximity to Orpen Gate for access to The Kruger National Park. We only stayed over for 1 night and can highly recommend this Sleepover.

We really liked the look and interior of these cuties. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful. Unfortunately we did not do our research properly and we therefor did not eat before we got there and there was no food/restaurants/shops on site. There were no towns nearby and we went to bed hungry.
