Robin's Nest is within walking distance from the Hemel & Aarde Village and the Hermanuspietersfontein and Whalehaven Wine cellars. You can enjoy the village market and the food market at Hermanuspietersfontein Wine Cellar on Saturdays.

We are situated 3,5 the Onrus beach and tidal pool at Vermont. Sandbaai is 2km away and we are 8km form the famous Grotto and Voellklip Beaches. We are just 3km from
Hermanusfomous for whale watching in season.

In addition to whale watching, there are many other activities which are now available in Hermanus, including sea kayaking, abseiling, lagoon canoeing, lagoon cruises, boat based whale watching, sand boarding, paragliding, horse riding, scuba diving, fishing charters, shark cage diving and sailing.

This place is beautifully situated outside the city in a closed compound. The access to the compound was a bit confusing and also the adress was not very easy to find with our car navigation because it is inside a private property. Kitchen and equipment were nice, the place was clean and supplies were good. There was soap and body lotion, coffee and tea.

Robin's Nest is a fantastic little B&B, on the Glenfruin Estate, just past the Whalehaven Winery. I had a self-catering unit, so while I can't comment on breakfast, I was quite pleased with the accommodation. It was safe and the farm-like setting was spectacular. There were Quality Streets on the pillows and some complimentary sherry for evenings on the balcony, which added a lovely touch. There were great restaurants not more than 500m away as well as a Woolworths Food. Sandra was a great host and I'd definitely recommend Robin's Nest to anyone looking for a comfortable place for a weekend in Hermanus. Garmin might struggle to find 10 Robin's Nest though, as there seemed to be a lack of street names, so here are the approximate co-ordinates if you've got a Sat Nav Device: S34 24.604 E19 11.964
