About Robin Cottage

Robin Cottage offers accommodation in Magoebaskloof on Dragonwyck Farm. Various walks on the farm follow the streams and provide access to escarpment forest. Dragonwyk Farm practices natural farming methods, and as a result has many birds and animals coexisting with us on the farm.

Self Catering Accommodation

Robin Cottage Holiday Home in Magoebaskloof offers self catering accommodation in two bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The second bedroom is on two levels with a double bed on the mezzanine level and two single beds on lower level.

The cottage has an outside and indoor bathroom. The outside bathroom has a double bath, shower and toilet. The inside bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The cottage is not serviced

Robin Cottage has Wi-Fi but no TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge/freezer, and microwave oven. Hot water is supplied by an electric geyser with a wood burning donkey(geyser) as back up.

A braai stand is supplied. We supply firewood for the indoor fireplaces, please bring your own braai wood or charcoal.

Indigenous and bird attracting plants surround the cottage. Because of this many of the farms birds can be seen from the veranda. Excellent birding can be had walking on the paths that follow the streams and go into the forest

Please Note

The cottages are accessed by a 2 km dirt road. The road is not suitable for low profile cars or drivers who are unaccustomed to dirt roads.
