Primespot is a self-catering holiday home just outside of Gansbaai. Located right on the beach, 20 metres away. Absolutely breathtaking sea view. Ideal spots for fishing right in front of the house.

Self Catering Accommodation

Primespot has eight bedrooms and four bathrooms.

There are four bedrooms furnished with a double bed, two bedrooms with tri-bunks, one room with bunk beds, a single bed and a double bed. There is another room with a single bed. Additionally, there is a double bed and three single sleeper couches in the living area. Both bath and shower facilities are available in the house. Bedding and towels are provided for up to twenty guests. Additional bedding and towels not provided.

The spacious living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge space and dining table. Additionally, this home has a great entertainment area with a pool table, a dartboard and ample comfy seating. There is also an indoor braai room with plenty of dining space as well as a TV with Netflix. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.

There is a large patio facing the ocean with a portable outdoor braai, wood-fired hot tub and outdoor furniture.

The home has solar panels with a generator as backup.

Pets

Pets are welcome by arrangement. Very large yard, with bushes, although fenced, it can't be guaranteed that pet's won't get out. Neighbors also have dogs.

Attractions

Nestled between Hermanus and Pearly Beach, the unassuming village of Gansbaai boasts a significant reputation. It is famous for being a prime location to witness Southern Right Whales and Great White Sharks in the Atlantic waters of the Danger Point Peninsula. Geyser Island, home to numerous Cape fur seals, and Dyer Island, a breeding ground for African penguins and seabirds, are close by.

The passage between these islands, known as 'shark alley,' attracts Great White Sharks, making shark cage diving a popular activity. Gansbaai is also part of a whale sanctuary, where Southern Right Whales can be seen up close during their annual visits. The area's rich fynbos vegetation and conservancies offer a natural paradise for plant enthusiasts, and organized hikes provide access to this botanical wonderland.
