Pineapple Cottage offers Cape Town self catering accommodation dating back to the early 1900's situated in the historical fishing village of Kalk Bay with views of False Bay, the harbour and mountains. Swim in one of the three tidal pools, soak up the sun at the local beaches, purchase fresh fish from the harbour and stroll into the village. Enjoy numerous excellent restaurants and cocktail bars as well as a kaleidoscope of shops with lots of South African spun goods on sale.
Self Catering Accommodation
Pineapple Cottage is a self catering holiday home with two bedrooms. the first room is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the second room has two single beds. There is a separate bathroom with a 150 year old cast iron bath and outside there is a private hot and cold shower to make use of after a day on the beach.
The cottage is an old style Victorian cottage with wooden floors, sash windows and shutters. The floors are painted white, ceilings white and walls a light color to give it an open light look. There is lots of light and sunshine.
The cottage has an open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has a fireplace, TV with DStv / satellite channels and free Wi-Fi.
The living area has two double doors leading to private courtyards, on one side an undercover eating nook and the other to the barbeque area. The front entrance and verandah has views of the sea and harbour. The cottage sleeps a maximum of four guests and is ideal for families.

An absolutely wonderful cottage, and perfectly located in Kalk Bay for walking access to all amenities, swimming areas and beautiful walks in the Cape Nature reserve. Plenty space, very private, extremely well equipped and spotless. The outside shower with mountain view is fantastic! We will be back, that's for sure!
