"Cape Saffron" is one of three private forest cabins at Overstory Cabins in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa, providing a serene and intimate retreat amid indigenous trees, waterfalls, and scenic walking trails. Surrounded by abundant birdlife and the gentle sounds of cascading water, this tranquil hideaway offers a true escape from the everyday.
Self-Catering Accommodation
The cabin combines comfort and elegance in a natural setting, making it ideal for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a restorative solo escape. Cape Saffron features one bedroom with a king bed (can be separated into singles), a stylish en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and an inviting lounge and dining area.
The outdoor deck enhances the experience with a wood-fired hot tub, braai facilities, and an alfresco dining space, providing the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the forest surroundings.
The cabin is equipped with modern amenities for convenience and comfort, including Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix, a fireplace, heater, and electric blankets.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin in Hout Bay was absolutely incredible! The place itself was stunning, peaceful, and the perfect spot for our anniversary getaway. The host was beyond amazing. She went out of her way to make everything extra special. Everything was thoughtful, from start to finish, and it truly made the trip unforgettable. I highly recommend this place!
