Ou Winkel Cottage is a stand alone cottage featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with two three quarter-size beds which can be converted to a King-size bed on request. The bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The spacious living area is comfortably furnished and equipped with DStv, Wi-Fi and has a fireplace to keep the cottage cosy during the cooler winter months. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a self catering holiday. There is a porch along the front of the cottage with a fenced, private garden area and a braai pit situated in the middle. Although the cottage is situated between vineyards, it is next to Voortrekker Road, on the opposite side of the main estate.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
