Overnight in corbelled house. A natural piece of history authentically maintained. Natasha and Stegman were wonderful hosts. (Sadly a 5 degree wind decided to prevail at 35 kmph all day making sundowners on the hill-top and braaiing a serious challenge). Otherwise a tranquil Karoo farm setting well worth the visit

This is truly a very magical place and Natascha and Stegmann are phenomenal hosts. Osfontein is the epitome of a Karoo get away: tranquillity; amazing stars; and delicious lamb (sold on-site). We had the privilege of hiring out both the Corbelled House and the Kliphuis. Both are magnificent. For the price/value equation, this is very hard to beat!

It is a true Karoo experience, from the pleasant reception to the stay in one of the most amazing and rustic stone houses. Definitely a place we can recommend and will revisit in future.

We loved our night in the beautiful corbelled house. It was so different from anything that we know - and so well furnished and equipped that you felt that you were stepping back into the past - except for the wonderful shower. This is a must for anyone who is interested in the past and in architecture. Narasha and Stegman were charming and helpful.

Natasha and Stegmann have done a marvellous job in renovating and decorating the accommodations at their farm. Lovely little details made our stay an adventure in discovering original crafts work. We also loved the calmness of the place and the relaxed atmosphere. Very recommendable place.

We stayed in the tree house which was very well appointed, and were offered delicious lamb chops as well as wood for our braai. A wonderful place to see the stars at nite , overall an excellent place to stay.

What a stay! The corbelled house at Osfontein is a totally unique experience. We were just sad that we had only one night to sit outside in front of the fire with our heads tipped back to drink in the stars. Natasha and Stegmann are attentive hosts and you can see that they’ve gone the extra mile when it comes to creating an authentic experience. ps: make sure to order lamb chops for your meal, Natasha will have these waiting for you as you arrive.
