The Opstal is a self-catering holiday home located at Cederkloof Botanical Retreat which is nestled in a breathtaking gorge in the Olifants river valley, part of the greater Cederberg Wilderness area - a world heritage site.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Opstal can accommodate up to ten guests in five bedrooms. Three of the rooms are en-suite and the other two rooms share a bathroom.

There is a full chef’s kitchen. The large lounge is comfortable furnished and includes a dining table. The living area leads out onto a wraparound veranda.

Outside is a pool, wood fired pizza oven and wood fired hot tub with great outdoor and indoor entertainment spaces.

The Area

Citrusdal town has a golf course, mountain biking trails, hiking trails, horse riding, 4x4 trails, bird watching and day dreaming spots.

We are 60km from one of the top ten rock climbing spots in the world and also an hours drive from South Africa's best left surf break.
