This solar-powered cabin is nestled in the heart of the Hemel en Aarde Valley, just 15 km from central Caledon. It boasts breathtaking views, surrounded by majestic mountains and pristine nature. We have designed this romantic getaway with meticulous attention to detail to embody peace and tranquillity.

Indulge in unparalleled seclusion at this luxurious cabin for two. Picture yourself showering with panoramic mountain views, thanks to the wide-opening glass walls. Unwind on the expansive deck, complete with a sun lounger, a hammock, and a soothing wood-fired hot tub beneath a canopy of stars.

Prepare delightful meals in the fully equipped kitchenette, then head to the nearby BBQ/braai area, seemingly carved from nature itself, for an unforgettable outdoor dining experience.

The luxury cabin boasts stunning mountain views and comprises one bedroom and one bathroom. The cabin features a well-equipped kitchenette with a gas stove and BBQ/braai facilities.

The cabin is non-smoking and offers a comfortable sitting area, a fireplace, and a dining table. Additional amenities include a cleaning service, non-feather pillows, and views of both the pool and the mountains.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, bathrobe, and slippers. Guests can enjoy coffee and tea facilities, a refrigerator, a two-plate stove, a patio, a terrace, and a plunge pool. Outdoor amenities include furniture, a KokKol wood-fired hot tub, an outdoor dining area, and BBQ/braai facilities.

This eco-friendly escape, completely off the grid and powered by solar energy, requires a 4x4 vehicle for access, ensuring an ultimate private retreat. You may also encounter wild animals that inhabit the area, so please respect their natural habitat.

On The Hill Luxury Cabin is ideally situated 30 km outside of central Hermanus, perfect for avoiding the crowds and enjoying peace and quiet, but close enough to venture into Hermanus to enjoy the Cliff Path, spend time watching the whales and perhaps a lunch or dinner at one of many excellent restaurants. There is plenty to do in the town of Hermanus which is why it is such a popular holiday and weekend destination.

Honestly we’ve been to a lot of hot tub places but this one was super special. Super remote all alone on top of a hill but with the luxury of having an air fryer, gas stove, an amazing sun deck with sun beds, comfy chairs, our own fire pit to braai and melt some marshmallows and obviously the very spacious hot tub, indoor fireplace and plenty of wood. Honestly one can’t ask for more. We also had good internet with Telkom and some phone reception as well so it was remote but we could still do some work and browse and watch series on our iPad that we brought. Just start the hot tub early and crank it up :) because it is so spacious it can almost not overheat. Perfect getaway, thank you for the wine and rusks as well, made it extra special!
