We had a lovely, cosy stay here for 3 nights. The house is old but clean and perfectly located. It has a view of the mountains and is just down the road from Monk's Cowl where you can hike (we recommend the Sphinx hike). Our host Roger was VERY helpful over the phone with weather updates and hiking tips.

The place is a bit old but nice. If you want to relax and enjoy nice and quiet ambiance, this is the place. The place needs a bit more cleaning.

The splendour of the Drakensberg is easily experienced through the position of this home . The views and position are probably unbeatable , and the large house has ambiance and atmosphere that is difficult to beat. It easily accomodates 8 adults - maybe a few more , and a wonderful, spacious setting for kids. Access to Monks Cowl is less than 5 minutes . Position, views, space , ambiance - - if this is what you're after in your visit to the Drakensberg , then Ondini has it all.
