Excluded / Extra

Quoted rates exclude the following fees which must be paid directly to the property after the booking has been confirmed, usually a week before check-in, but in some cases on arrival.

A standard key and breakage deposit is due before or at check-in. The holding amount depends on the length of stay and the standard of the apartment and may be adjusted at the owner’s or management’s discretion.

The deposit is processed through a secure link using a credit card. This is merely a hold on the amount and will be released within 14 days after check-out if no claims are reported. If no credit card is available, the deposit can be paid via EFT, but it must reflect in our account before arrival. A bank confirmation letter will be requested to process the refund back to the guest’s account.

If neither of the above options is used, a refundable cash or debit card payment must be made before check-in can be completed. A minimum fee of R150 will apply for processing the refund back to the guest’s account. No cash refunds will be allowed.

No keys will be handed over without the above being completed.

All guests are personally met for check-in, which is scheduled by the hour in advance on a first-come, first-served basis between 14:00 and 18:00. As multiple properties are managed and the team is not based on-site, specific time requests may not always be possible; however, every effort will be made to accommodate guest preferences. Please note that for check-ins after 18:00, an additional fee is payable upon arrival before keys are handed over.

Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.

Cancellation policy
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
