Mpeti Villa is ideal for families who want some privacy and space. The villa offers spacious accommodation in Mkuze where you can relax and enjoy being close to nature. Mpeti Lodge is ideally situated as an overnight stop on the way to Mozambique and is located right next to the N2 Highway opposite the Jozini Dam .

Self Catering Accommodation

Mpeti Villa is a self-catering luxury villa in Mkuze that is ideal for a family getaway. It comprises three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the other two rooms are furnished with two three-quarter beds each.

There are also an additional two three-quarter beds available in the master bed room to accommodate families with small children.

The fully equipped kitchen contains everything required for your self catering stay, a dining area and a comfortable lounge.

Outside is a secluded braai area and an outdoor Jacuzzi looking out over a watering hole where animals can be viewed in their natural habitat.

Dining

Meals are available on request at the main lodge. The Lodge restaurant boasts 180 degree views of the Jozini Dam. The large deck area is perfect for long lazy lunches and romantic dinners under the stars. We source fresh produce from the local lying areas and most of our meat is sourced from free range and organic suppliers in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands.

Experience

One of the best ways to view the wildlife at Mpeti is by going on a game drive. With a large variety of birds and antelope as well as giraffe, zebra and buffalo to be seen, it is definitely a must on a safari trip. Feel like seeing the Big Five, take a game drive on the Somhkanda community owned farm, right next door to Mpeti. Nature walks are a fun activity for the whole family. You can book a guided nature walk with one of our rangers who will help you spot & identify birds and show you how to read animal tracks.
