I think a small upgrade would make a difference, start by not using worn out towels and linen. small touches that cost nothing extra can make the room a little more inviting. very peaceful location, friendly welcome.

Beautiful large cottage with lovely mountain views. No contact by the owners during our stay considering they were on sight. Equipment was to a minimum eg. no hairdryer, no drying rack, minimal washing up liquid, tea towels, towels, loo roll, kitchen equipment etc. The cottage was very hot and only one portable fan provided for the whole area. This was exacerbated by a terrible mosquito problem and both of us suffered badly with bites. We purchased our own mosquito repellents after one night of hell. No local information given. No guest/customer interaction whatsoever apart from a request for time of arrival. With a little effort and consideration the Moore’s End experience could have been fabulous

Moore's End is so beautiful, great mountain views, amazing gardens, wonderful laid back hosts. They have such interesting details in their decor, it feels like you are really staying in a home which is important when you are away from home! We loved the proteas and the little creek that runs through the property.

Sibs and Basil Moore are gracious hosts. The cabins are beautifully decorated and the location is wonderful. Moores End is a protea farm with great mountain views. The self catering cabins have kitchens which are nice for preparing breakfast and lunch. I could have stayed here as our central base for seeing Cape Town, Hermanus, Franschoek and Stellenbosch.

What a fantastic place! The views are stunning with Simonsberg as a backdrop and Proteas all around. With some of South Africa's most renowned wine farms a few minutes away you are spoiled for choice. The facilities are great (a game of tennis even!) and the cottages spacious. Highly recommended!
