About Monte Christo Hotel
Monte Christo Hotel is situated in Spitskop, a tranquil suburb of Bloemfontein, with convenient access from both the N1 and N8 highways.
Accommodation
Accommodation at the hotel is varied, offering six semi self-catering units, eight family units, and twenty-six standard hotel rooms. The self-catering units are designed with comfort in mind, each featuring either a king-size bed or twin single beds, along with an en-suite bathroom that includes both a bath and a shower. Guests making use of these units also have access to a shared kitchen for added convenience.
The family units provide two bedrooms, with the main bedroom furnished with a king-size bed and the second bedroom furnished with two single beds. Both bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers. The hotel rooms are comfortably appointed with king-size beds and private bathrooms that feature showers.
All rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning, a television with selected DStv channels, a microwave, a refrigerator, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Please see the individual room descriptions with photographs below, to assist you with your choice.
On Site Facilities
The hotel provides inviting spaces for relaxation, whether it be enjoying the patio, strolling through the garden, or making use of the braai facilities. Meals are available on request, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner offered at an additional charge. For special occasions and business needs, the property also caters for weddings and conferences.
Location
For special events, like rugby, athletics, cricket and soccer, we are about 10 minutes from all these stadiums. We are about 7 minutes from the Mimosa Mall and 10 minutes from the Waterfront.
The Free State University is about 5 minutes from the lodge. From Bloemfontein Airport, we are about 20 km or a 15 minute drive. Most of the bigger schools like Grey College and Eunice are about 7 minutes from the lodge. The Windmill Casino is about 10 minutes from the lodge, and besides the casino, there are 7 restaurants to choose from to eat and relax.
