Miss Chrissie's Country House is one of the Chrissiesmeer guest houses and provides accommodation in 10 guest rooms for tourists visiting the Grass & Wetlands region.

About Miss Chrissie's Country House

Situated in Chrissiesmeer in the Mpumalanga Province, this lovingly restored country house oozes charm and character while still retaining many of its original features.

Accommodation

We offer nine en-suite guest rooms in a sandstone building that dates back to the 1870's. The rooms are furnished with double or single beds, have their own individuality and some of the rooms boast fireplaces. There is also a private self catering cottage in the garden.

Additional Facilities

The communal lounge area has a large open fireplace and is usually where we serve dinner. You can spend endless evenings relaxing with your family or friends, enjoying beautiful food and music. The pool room also has an open fireplace and an honesty bar. We have wine in the old wine rack, but you're welcome to bring your own as there is a fridge with ice.

Restaurant

The charming restaurant is furnished with some lovely pieces and is joined by a large entertainment area with a built-in BBQ/braai and overlooks the lake. Experience beautiful sunsets over the lake with a sundowner on the veranda, or while strolling around the large garden.
