Melozhori exceeded our expectations - from the moment we went through the gate, we came across lots of wildlife as we slowly made our way to our cottage - zebra, wildebeest, springbok! We were met by Sam there who explained everything to us and left us to settle in. Later she returned to take us on our extra game drive we had booked in advance - which ended with us enjoying a cheese and fruit platter by a fire - all set up by another guide - very special! A dip in the wood-fired hot tub completed the evening. Before the game drive in the morning, we went for a walk and came across 2 giraffe and spent time watching and photographing them from a distance which was fantastic! We then spent the afternoon again walking around exploring the reserve! A special place and we will be back!

We loved everything about our stay at the Cottage. The self-catering unit is well appointed and has everything you need & more. The beds are really comfortable with quality linen & heated blankets. Lovely spacious bathroom with fluffy towels and eco friendly toiletries. The fireplace made nights nice and toasty with more than enough wood provided for our 2 day stay. Knowing that we would see the big five on our game drive had us a bit sceptical, but our guide made it a really memorable drive. Sam is a wealth of knowledge and really loves what she does. We’ve been on many game drives but certainly learned some interesting facts we’d never heard before. Thank you Lisa-Marie & team for a lovely weekend!
