We enjoyed our stay. We had an issue with the electric kettle that was black inside and leaked. It was replaced quickly after I sent a message to Marieta, but it was also black inside and also leaked. I gave the feedback to Marieta that both kettles should be replaced, which she acknowledged.

An absolute gem in the Klein Karoo. Swaartskaap house is absolutely amazing, we had an incredible time. The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen / outside braai area has everything you need for a family getaway! Highlights included the plaasdam, the rolling green lawns and the thousands of star we saw every evening. Don't think twice, book your stay! We'll be back in a heatbeat.
