Maki-Saki Self Catering is located on the ground floor and has three bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom is furnished with two single beds. There are two separate bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The living area consists of an open plan lounge and kitchen, fitted with a gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher as well as all the basic utensils you will require. The lounge area has a flat screen TV with satellite channels and Netflix. Free Wi-Fi is available. Two of the rooms have doors opening into the enclosed spa/entertainment area. Maki-Saki has its own on-site boutique spa where you can relax in the 6-seater Jacuzzi, heated pool or just simply spoil yourself with one of our spa treatments. A boutique gym is also available on site. Spa treatments are optional and must be pre-booked.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

    3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
