Excellent location

We only spent one night in this absolutely charming b&b but well shall be back. The room was absolutely beautiful & there were many thoughtful touches including heated floors in the bathroom. Local art adorns the walls which adds to tbr charm. Even in the middle of winter in the middle of a drought the garden is beautiful & the breakfast was a treat - continental & traditional eggs etc.

A wonderful place to stay in Franschoek... Bill is a very nice host, the place is perfect, very relaxing and in the middle of the village. We (7 people from France) will definitively come back if possible.

We stayed with Bill for 4 nights to start off our 3 week stay in S.A. Les Chambres was just what we were looking for and we were delighted with the size and decor of our en suite room and the garden and pool were perfect for relaxing in or out of the sun. Centrally located about 200 yards from the "High Street" with its shops and excellent restaurants we were able to walk to most places. Bill gave excellent advice on places of interest and where to eat. Lastly he cooks a great English breakfast. We would definitely return.

We stayed 4 nights over the Christmas period. We have stayed in Franschhoek at various places previously, and Les Chambres is a real little gem. Bill and Sandi were very friendly, helpful & knowledgeble. Lovely tranquil guest house set in beautiful gardens. The rooms are large & beautifully decorated, bathrooms also spacious and thoughtfully done. The breakfasts were superb, best poached eggs in SA thanks to Bill!! Overall a wonderful stay and we can & will highly recommend this lovely B & B.
