Thank you Athol for the lovely venue which our family used for ten days in April. There were about 25 of us, plus daily guests. We felt at home and very comfortable. You were always available to help with any query we had. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue. Thanks once again The Rory Spence Family

My husband and I spent a week in Lime Cottage during the very chilly August of this year. We were very cozy with the fireplace burning which warmed the whole cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking up a storm on and in the enormous gas stove/oven and didn't want for any cooking equipment, crockery or cutlery - all these items are supplied and are stylish, practical and spotless. There is a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen too which both take large loads and are quietly efficient. The owner, Athol's style comes through in the comfortable and refined furnishings and also in the unique, beautiful art pieces dotted around the cottage. I had to drag myself out of the memory foam pillow top, king size, extra-length bed in the mornings - sheer luxury! The en-suite bathroom we used off the main bedroom is stylish and chic with a gigantic shower rose in the shower and enough room for about 4 people to comfortably shower at once :-) If I must say something negative, the shower being blocked on the first night (although quickly rectified by Athol's efficient, friendly and handsome handyman), put a damper on an otherwise faultless week in Lime Cottage.

We stayed at Le Bonheur from July 8 – 12, 2012 in the Lemon Cottage during a cold, rainy spell of winter in Cape Town. We were part of a family wedding group who occupied many of the rooms in the main guest Villa. We found the Lemon cottage very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. If you are looking for very good accommodation in Constantia that is safe, well-maintained and with all the amenities which are as advertised and described. We would highly recommend staying in any of the rooms in the Villa or the cottages. It is in a quiet, scenic, convenient location of Constantia, close to shops and restaurants. The host and owner of the property, Mr. Athol Childs, is very considerate of his guests and made our stay at Le Bonheur a very pleasant and memorable one.

Hi Athol, Teri and I just want to thank you for the most comfortable stay we could ever have wished for! Lime cottage was fabulous, very well furnished and expertly equipped with everything we could have needed. Our extended stay of 7 weeks here was simply wonderful, (warm, comfortable and safe)and when we return to Cape Town we know where we will be coming too. Best regards. Herman and Teri Roup.

Our family stayed at Le Bonheur in the Lemon Cottage for about a week. Our family consists of two adults and two children aged 10 and 11. We had a wonderful time. Mr. Athol Childs manages the property and went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our children especially enjoyed Jacko the African Grey parrot who greets your arrival and departure each day as well as the two friendly dogs in the courtyard. The view from the roof of the back of Table Mountain is wonderful. The property is located in a part of Cape Town that is higher end and provides a sense of security. You will find easy access to grocery stores as well as to roads that will take you to most any part of the Western Cape that you wish to visit. I would recommend booking early as the available units fill up during the summer season. If you are booking later you should also inquire as to any limitations on use of the pool or other facilities. As we hope to return to Cape Town in the future, we will definitely check into Le Bonheur's availability at that time.
