Lawnrenny @ Blue Crane offers Dullstroom accommodation in a cottage on Blue Crane Farm. The farm is situated approximately 10 minutes' drive from the well-known fly fishing destination of Dullstroom with all its amenities, shops, restaurants and attractions.

Self Catering Accommodation

Lawnrenny @ Blue Crane is a quaint self catering holiday cottage in Dullstroom sleeping two guests. The unit has one bedroom furnished with a Queen-size bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The sliding door of the bedroom opens up onto the patio and has a lovely view of the 9 hectare dam.

The cottage has an open plan living room with a fireplace, TV with satellite channels, a dining area and kitchenette. There is a two seater sleeper couch in the living room that can be used as a bed for small children.

The patio of the unit has a built in braai and a table that seats four guests.

This unit has an exceptional view of the big dam, and is situated approximately 30 meters from the edge of the water.

There is covered parking provided.

Activities and Attractions

The farm boasts two beautiful dams where guests can enjoy fly fishing. Both dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

Bird watching is also a very popular activity on the farm due to the big variety of land and water bird species that visit. Endangered bird species such as the Crowned Crane and Blue Crane can also be spotted and we have a Blue Crane breeding pair that recently nested on one of the islands in the big dam.

The venue offers beautiful scenery with free roaming game species such as Springbuck, Blesbuck, Zebra, Hartebeest and Vaal Rhebuck. We offer guests the chance to hike or cycle on well kept paths on the farm.
