The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was tasty and a bit of everything for every taste. Unfortunately, the water was out when we got there, and we were not notified until enquired about. It was fixed by the evening but after a hot car journey we would have liked a shower or at least informed of the possible delay in restoration. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The carpets could have been deep cleaned though. With it being at the seaside, tiles would be much easier to maintain. The hotel decor is dated and a little dark for the seaside. The hotel only serves breakfast not lunch or dinner while we were there, but the local restaurant Isabella's in the habour was good food (but sloppy service). Wi-fi is available but only 2GB at a time with you needing to go to reception for "tickets". They could close access and issue passwords to guests only. The sea view is marred by a fish factory right in front of the hotel. The waifs that hang around are a little annoying despite the sign "discouraging" beggars and hawkers. We were there for 3 nights and only the staff, breakfast and comfort in the room was a positive.
