What a lovely stay we had at Kingfisher with our 2 Doggies. The venue is in immaculate condition and there is so much to look at and to do - or you can just switch off and relax! The variety of accommodation options really surprised us and so did the bar and restaurant. Excellent service and food all round.

i have been to Kingfisher many times. Always a great place to visit. Friendly people clean tidy and good accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - from the quirky signs entertaining you as you drive to the venue from the main road, to the warm friendly welcome from Hennie & Michelle, great hospitality remained wonderfully in place for the duration. We'll be recommending the lodge! Great hiking trails and plenty to keep kids occupied if required.

5 stars from the triple As: Annette, Aletta & Aku. Wat ek waardeer van Kingfisher Trout Lodge is die stilte en vrede. Die huisies is ten volle toegerus met als wat 'n mens nodig het. Die uitsig oor die vallei gee 'n mens die ruimte om af te skakel en die klank van die waterval is strelend vir die siel. Daar is geen TV en wifi in die huisies wat 'n mens toelaat om weg te kom van die gedurige aandrang op 'n mens se aandag. Anyone who needs a break from the pressures of the day-to-day realities of work and other commitments can do themselves a favour and book a weekend at Kingfisher - you will leave refreshed and you will surely return! Baie dankie vir die personeel wat 'n groot bydrae lewer om die verblyf by Kingfisher so goed te maak.

The staff are wonderful and make every effort to make guests feel at home. It is peaceful, tranquil and addictive. The views are priceless and the uninterrupted sounds of nature and children playing make for a very homely atmosphere. It is definitely a place to return to again and again.

The staff were very friendly and we loved the fact that the lodge was pet friendly. Next time we will bring our pets along.

My wife and I had the most relaxing 3 nights stay at the lodge ! Beautiful views and surroundings with amazing food and great staff and service ! Will definitely be back !

We really enjoyed our stay and the great service we received. The lodge it beautiful. Although I didn't make it all the way down to see the waterfalls due to shoe problems where we did get to was a beautiful view.

Kingfisher Trout Lodge is always fantastic. The new owners are so friendly and are genuinely nice people. The fishing was not great but that was to be expected as it is summer. Can't wait for the winter so I can go back again and enjoy some good fishing time. Thanks again for the weekend.

Venue under new management is looking good with hosts nice and friendly but unfortunately the trout fishing was very disappointing !
