About Jocks Family Cottage

Jock's Family Cottage offers accommodation in Dullstroom alongside the original Dullstroom Dam, established on the farm in 1958. Our historic family farm is directly adjacent to the Dullstroom trout dams, and surrounded by the practically untouched scenic backdrop of the Mpumalanga province.

Self Catering Accommodation

Jock's Family Cottage is a self catering holiday home in Dullstroom sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms.

The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. The two bedrooms upstairs, are each furnished with two single beds and a share a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage was built in 1999, Guests can enjoy a lounge, complete with fireplace and open plan dining room and large kitchen, which lead out onto ample outdoor space, perfect for family picnics.

The cottage is fully equipped with stainless steel kitchenware, coffee, tea, eiderdown duvets, an electric blanket in the main bedroom, towels and soap, and wood for the fireplace.

Additional Facilities

The cottage is serviced once a day and you are invited to make use of Jock's Cottages' outside barbecue facility and covered parking.

On Site Facilities

We have turned the original Groot Suikerboshkop buildings into a modern haven for fishing enthusiasts, travellers and nature lovers. From renting fishing equipment to finding the best homemade milk tart in Dullstroom, we are available to answer any questions you may have about the are. There are also a number of mountain biking and hiking trails on the farm, as well as many opportunities for bird watching.
