Jock's Cottages has three luxurious, self-catering cottages are situated on our historic family farm. Choose from Jock's Cottage, Joe's Place (which has four units) and Fine Feathers (which is a honeymoon suite).

Our cosy, fully-equipped cottages offer you a home away from home, providing outstanding accommodation, activities and atmosphere just a short walk away from Dullstroom's charming main street.

Attractions

We have turned the original Groot Suikerbochkop buildings into a modern haven for fishing enthusiasts, travellers and nature lovers. From renting fishing equipment to finding the best homemade milk tart in Dullstroom, we are available to answer any questions you may have about the area and assist you with all of your accommodation needs. There are also a number of mountain biking and hiking trails on the farm, as well as many opportunities for bird watching. Alternatively, you can always take a leisurely walk into the village to sample some of Dullstroom's crafts and delicacies.

Each of the four luxurious, self-catering units include a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom and an open plan living room with a modern kitchenette. Each unit has its own fireplace. The cottage is fully equipped with stainless steel kitchenware, coffee, tea, eiderdown duvets, an electric blanket for the double bed, towels, soap, and wood for the fireplace. The bathrooms have either a bath or a shower. The cottage is serviced once a day and you are invited to make use of Joe’s Place’s outside barbecue facility. Joe’s Place No 1 has a bath, No 2 and 3 have a shower. No 3 is also wheelchair friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Jock''s cottages in Dullstroom. Located on a beautiful, peaceful farm, the accommodation was cozy, with a fireplace, small kitchen, lovely lawns for afternoon picnics, and close to walking and mountain bike trails. Just perfect!
