About Izotsha Creek Estate

Izotsha Creek, with its nine tastefully decorated suites, nursery and beautiful gardens, was set up in 1996 to establish a peaceful rural setting for your restful break. The gorgeous views and setting create an accommodation experience you will want to come back for more.

Accommodation

You are invited to come and experience our magnificent panoramic views that create an unforgettable stay with us. As you awake, our farm breakfasts and fresh refreshments are truly delicious and prepare you for the day ahead. Our nine tastefully decorated rooms all include:

Enjoy the cool relaxing infinity rock pool with waterfalls and hear the beautiful indigenous birdsong as the various birds visit the pools for their daily bath. Fish Eagles nest nearby and we are establishing a beautiful twitching trail through the adjacent virgin coastal bush, unique to our part of our beautiful country.

Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast guests are welcomed to join us for short or long stays. Our Farmhouse breakfasts are truly magnificent and prepare you for the day. Dinners and lunches are available by prior arrangement upon booking.

Activities and Attractions

Excursions to local tourist attractions such as Oribi Gorge, Leopard Rock, Lake Eland, Protea Banks Diving, Wild Coast Casino, can also be arranged. A 21 seated shuttle bus is available for transfers between King Shaka International Airport and the local attractions. Come and rest a while, in our beautiful, exotic and restful 'palm lined' estate.

Location

We are approximately one hours' drive from Durban and 1h20min from King Shaka International Airport. There is ample parking and 24 hour security on the entire estate. We are situated at the top of the hill that looks over Shelly Beach.

Izotsha Creek was recommended to us by some very close friends of friends as a place to stay and have our wedding at (I am from Durban but have lived in London for 16 years). So all my planning etc had to be done from London and of course, that was at times rather stressful (as weddings can be). That said, Kristen and Patrick Fenton at Izotsha could not have been more helpful – this goes to giving me details for a minister close by, recommending florists, photographer, band etc, dealing with my numerous email queries over the many months – and quite simply bent over backwards before we arrived & especially on the wedding day, to ensure everything went by smoothly. The day was perfect and although the rain was there in the morning, it cleared just in time so we could go ahead with our ‘private’ beach wedding which Izotsha also arranged for us! The wedding was a huge success, all guests raved about the beach wedding part and how wonderful Izotsha Creek was. There were 20 of us who staying at Izotsha Creek overnight which meant we could all enjoy a wonderful, relaxing breakfast together in the morning along with a nice, peaceful swim in the rock pool at the Creek. What a great way to end a perfect wedding. We cannot thank them enough for making everything so perfect!
