Indlulamithi Bush Lodge is situated within Kuleni Game park which has a combined area of 170 hectares of indigenous sand forest, wetlands, thornveld and grasslands, situated along the Elephant Coast in northern Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Self Catering Accommodation

Indlulamithi Bush Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in Hluhluwe. The lodge design consists of two detached full on luxury en-suite bedrooms and the luxurious main lodge, each nestled in its own secluded pocket of bush, tucked in among the beautiful flat crown, acacia and ironwood trees.

Solid timber floors, laminated teak square beams and nTingu poles create the unique signature style of the lodge. The private full on luxury en-suites are air conditioned with ceiling fans, double vanity basins, toilet, bath and private outdoor shower. The natural outdoor showers transform you directly into the natural beauty of the environment.

Architecturally designed to bring you closer to nature than you ever imagined. The open plan design with glass and timber structure allows the building to blend seamlessly with the surrounding bush.

Location & Attractions

The lodge is just two and a half hours drive from Durban, within easy driving distance of Pinda, Tembe Elephant Park, False Bay, St Lucia, Umfolozi/Hluhluwe Game Reserve, Sodwana Bay and Ponta do Ouro.

The park has an abundance of birdlife which is attracted to the virgin bush and the wide variety of indigenous trees that are a feature of the park. Animals include giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, nyala, kudu, impala, warthog, duiker, suni and many other small species.

There are a number of walking trails where you can enjoy close encounters with these animals and birds as well as experience large variety of fauna and flora of the park.

We had a wonderful short stop over on the way back home from Mozambique. The facilities are really good. Pse take this as a positive suggestion. The lady (very pleasant) who greeted us on arrival was wearing a t-shirt with holes in it (both days) It would make such a good impression for a luxury lodge that she wears a smart shirt or t-shirt with Kuleni or lodge logo. If I recall correctly she was wearing one on our previous visit.
