About Houw Hoek Hotel
Houw Hoek Hotel is the oldest licensed hotel in South Africa and is located a leisurely 80 km from Cape Town. Relax alongside one of two refreshing swimming pools whilst taking in the tranquil setting. This grand old hotel offer all the comforts of home and outstanding service will ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.
Accommodation
We have 75 beautifully appointed rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There are double rooms as well as family rooms. We also have rooms with inter-leading doors. Most rooms have private balconies with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. We offer hotel bouquet 20 channel DStv. There is a minibar and tea / coffee making facilities in every room and free Wi-Fi. Some of the rooms have a fireplace, some have underfloor heating and some have air-conditioning.
Facilities
The property offers a wide range of facilities, including a 24-hour front desk, outdoor pools, a wellness spa, a restaurant, Wi-Fi, and a bar/lounge. Guests can make use of EV charging stations, visit the farm stall with its gift shop and wine-tasting room, and enjoy the children's play area. Dining
