Home Lynn is an elegant luxury beachfront villa accommodating up to 10 guests in a spectacular coastal setting. Originally designed and occupied by one of the world’s most celebrated architects, this distinctive family residence has been carefully restored, preserving its original character while providing all the comforts of a refined holiday home. With the Atlantic Ocean on its doorstep, guests can relax with a glass of South African wine and enjoy magnificent panoramic views across the water towards Table Mountain and Robben Island, creating an unforgettable Cape Town backdrop.

Accommodation

Home Lynn is particularly well suited to families and larger groups, with four comfortable en-suite bedrooms distributed between the main house and a private garden cottage. The garden cottage provides additional privacy and includes its own en-suite bathroom and kitchenette.

The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and a private en-suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and two single beds, with an en-suite bathroom containing a shower. The third bedroom offers a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The fourth bedroom, located in the garden cottage, has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. A separate guest toilet is also available.

At the centre of the home is a spacious gourmet kitchen, distinguished by beautiful stained-glass windows and a rustic clay fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, crockery, cutlery, and tea and coffee-making facilities, making it ideal for relaxed self-catering.

The generous living room features comfortable leather seating and an indoor fireplace, while a separate TV room provides Netflix for relaxed evenings. A dedicated study offers a quiet space for work or reading, and a second dining area enjoys wonderful ocean views.

Located only 20 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, Home Lynn provides easy access to an expansive stretch of coastline where guests can enjoy scenic beach walks extending for almost 25 km. The covered patio and built-in braai create an inviting setting for traditional South African outdoor dining, overlooking the tranquil garden.

The property is situated in a highly secure area and offers fast, uncapped Wi-Fi together with secure parking in a two-car garage. Its convenient position places guests approximately 30 minutes from the V&A Waterfront and within easy reach of Cape Town’s renowned wine estates.
