We very much enjoyed our stay at Hills and Dales. It was just a pity that there wasn't a putt putt course or something as we always needed to drive out to find something to do. Also a pity that the fridges aren't powered by solar system as the food in the freezer kept defrosting. Thank you for all you help Douglas you were a real star. Blessings

The room arrangement is very comfortable. In addition to the bedroom, there is a living room and a kitchen refrigerator. There is also a balcony with outdoor tables and chairs. It feels great to sit outdoors and overlook the endless scenery. The two lovely cats raised by the hotel owner will come to accompany you. Very nice stay experience. The location of the hotel is very close to the Hartbeespoort Dam, and there are many attractions nearby, such as cradle moon, Hartier River Hiking Trail, Lion & Safari Park, Ama Zwing Zwing Zipline, all within 20 minutes by car, and the Dutch village Jasmyn Farm is not far away, the Netherlands The village can purchase fruits, flowers, food, and delicious restaurants. There is a lively market in the north of the dam with live singing, and the pig's feet are also delicious and cheap.

The Venue is spectacular. Rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Not affected by loadshedding. The venue is spectacular if you are looking for an escape from the business of the city.

If you're looking for a relaxing and quiet place close to the city then this, is it! We very much enjoyed our stay in the middle of nature - we loved the bird life and to be close to the Cradle where we were cycling regularly. It is an absolute beautiful place and very secure. The place is very nice and super clean. If you want to wake up to a peace and quiet place with an amazing view, Hills and Dales is for you. I enjoyed the pool next to my room I also liked the fact that there's a small braai stand outside my room. I'd def recommend this place to anyone.

Guinea Fowl Rooms was relaxed, comfortable, clean and spacious. I’ll definitely come back provided it’s not overbooked. (I shouldn’t write such a positive review :)

Fish Eagle Lodge was good value for money and stay very close to Joburg, but nice and quiet and relaxed with beautiful views and very peaceful.

Clean, beautiful, spacious, fully equipped rooms for self catering. We did eat breakfast at the Guesthouse which was a real treat as it is delicious and more than enough. The staff is very friendly and assertive. The gardens and pool are beautiful. More than enough space for pets to roam around. We loved it and will be back.

We loved the setting, the views, the space, your beautiful gardens, the fireplace and lounge area (so cosy and comfortable), the braai options (both weber and gas), shower and big bath tub amazing, the security was also a plus. My kids were very happy there.

Die eienaars gaan uit hulle pad om jou te laat tuis voel. Die personeel is baie gaaf en vriendelik. Hills and Dales is naby alles en die rustigheid maak dit definitied 'n goeie bestemming. Hull ontbyt was uit die boonste rakke en ek sal dit beslis aanbeveel.

Diane was an amazing host - she gave us great directions to the accommodation and when our group of 4 arrived, they were greeted and welcomed. They loved the place as it was clean, neat, tidy and very comfortable. I will definitely be making use of their services again. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!

Friendly and welcoming, this family-run breakaway from the city, holds a return flavour. Take binoculars and a book if you enjoy birding and relaxing in a delightful garden. Dinners are offered and prepared with the home-cooked touch; the roasts and curries are delicious and fresh. Accommodation offers an eclectic variety catering for singles to families and fun group celebrations. Great spacey-views of indigenous vegetation from all lodgings; each decorated with care.

Dit was baie lekker en die ligging en omgewing is baie mooi. Dit was 'n fantastiese wegbreek gewees, definitief waarde vir geld.

Baie aangenaam, pragtige akkommodasie, hulpbaardige gasheer (Tim) en gasvrou (Diane). Ons het in die pragtige, ruim 'Fisheagle Lodge' gebly en het dit baie geniet. Alles was perfek. Met ons aankoms het Tim help aflaai en 'n kaggel het gesellig gebrand. Da Vince (once jack russell) was welkom en het dit net so geniet. Hy kon vrylik rond beweeg en het vriende gemaak met Tim and Diane se hondjies. Ons sal graaag weer by Hills and Dales Accommodation cc wil vertoef.
