The quaint fishing village of Eland's Bay (Elandsbaai) might be only two hours from the city of Cape Town, but it is about as far off the beaten track as you can get, with so little travelling time. From Cape Town International Airport:
1. Head northeast on Ring Road for 700 m.
2. Continue straight for 350 m.
3. Keep left and stay on Ring Road for 650 m.
4. Use the right two lanes to turn slightly left toward Airport Approach Road for 180 m.
5. Merge onto Airport Approach Road for 190 m.
6. Keep right to stay on Airport Approach Road for 1.9 km.
7. Merge onto Settlers Way/N2 for 2.2 km.
8. Take exit 14 to M7/Vanguard Drive, continue for 550 m.
9. Continue onto M7 for 8.1 km, then N7 for 117 km.
10. At Piketberg, exit onto Kerk Street/R366.
11. Turn right onto Lang Street, then slight right to Waterkant Road/R366 for 90.6 km.
12. Turn right onto Skool Street for 270 m, then left onto Boom Street, The High Tide House will be on your left, 5 Boom Street.
