Very neat and very clean. We had an excellent stay and would love to visit again.

Absolutely fabulous, would only liked some area to have watched the rugby as traveling to George at night time rather dangerous.

What a rest full few days I had , just what the doctor ordered , away from stress work stuff and just enjoying the view and walks and of cause the lovely fires at night with good red wine and food: Will definitely do it again

The lodge and the staff were everything that we expected. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with Highlands Lodge. The peace and quiet is beyond anything one can experience easily for the amount of money charged per night's stay. It is worth every cent and I will - and look forward to - visiting them soon again!

Swembad area en tuine - uitstekend en word netjies en skoon gehou. - Hut 1A - Hopeloos te klein kampstoof-en oondjie wat ook te hoog staan om gerieflik te gebruik - Toilet is reg voor die stort - probleem om uit te klim - Badkamer nodig opgradering - koue kraan van bad is geblok ? - algemene huishoudelike skoonmaak en vervanging van linne is onaanvaarbaar- 9 dae dieselfde beddegoed en handdoeke en met aankoms was daar 'n vuil badmat voor die bad. 😁 -die gordyne is plek plek gemuf en die verdroogde stofbelaaide plastiekblomme moet eerder weggelaat word. Hang dan eerder blindings as muf 'n probleem is. - die hut nodig 'n nuwe laag verf - daar was verdroogde kosspatsels teen die kombuismure - die streng reels word só oordadig oral opgeplak dis eintlik bietjie beledigend- regtig! Niemand wil die 3 messe, vurke, borde of enige stokhoringoud items steel nie. Ons ander susters broers en kinders was in die ander hutte en het elkeen 'n ander probleem met die warm/ koue temperature van die badkamerkrane beleef. - die stukkies opwas skuursponsies by ons almal was pikswart!! Dit is onhigiënies en toon dat min toesig en aandag aan belangrike detail geskenk word. Dit kom voor dat minimale instandhouding gedoen word aan die hutte en ongelukkig doen dit afbreuk aan 'n andersins absolute lieflike rusoord tussen berg, bome, rivier en voëltjies. Knap bietjie op en jul plek gaan oorlopens toe VOL bly reg deur die jaar.

This place is truly awful, the setting is the only good thing about it. The lady who owns/runs the place is extremely rude and unhelpful. She said to us our two year old cannot be in a cabin with carpets as he will make a mess. We booked a four sleeper and a two sleeper to accommodate two people for a few days and then a different couple for the next few days and wanted the bedding changed. This is the response we received: your "coming and going is nothing to do with me." They only change bedding and towels every five days regardless and don't service the chalets at all even though we stayed two weeks. The place is badly run and I suggest you look elsewhere.

I love this place! Thanks to a good management team our stay was very pleasant and after 6 days we were sad to pack up to return back to Cape Town. I will surely be back.....
