Guppy Huys Oceanfront Bungalow sits directly along the shoreline in the peaceful coastal village of De Kelders—a location celebrated for some of the finest land-based whale watching in the world.

This oceanfront retreat comfortably accommodates up to six guests, offering three well-appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-concept living and kitchen area. Two of the bedrooms feature queen-size beds, while the third is furnished with a pair of single beds, ideal for children or additional guests. The main bedroom enjoys the privacy of an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet, while the second bathroom includes both a shower and a bathtub. A separate guest toilet is conveniently located off the main hallway.

Designed for easy self-catering, the kitchen is fully equipped with modern conveniences such as an induction stovetop, a multifunction oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and all necessary cookware and utensils. The dining area comfortably seats six, and the lounge invites relaxation with a plush suite and a slow-combustion fireplace, perfect for cooler evenings.

The quiet upmarket neighbourhood of De Kelders borders on the pristine Walker Bay nature conservancy that extends along the coast all the way to Hermanus. The north-facing coast, provides an excellent climate and on a clear day it's possible to see all the way to the Cape peninsula. In Stamford you will find a cheese farm, honey producer, charcuterie, wineries, a brewery, a distillery, river activities and even a big cat sanctuary. The area is a food lover's paradise.
