Groeneweide which means “green pastures” is located just 10kms from the town of George on the Garden Route.

Self Catering Accommodation
The homestead boasts a 180 degree panoramic vista and comfortably accommodates up to ten guests on a self catering basis.
The farmhouse features two grand King-size master bedrooms with de luxe en-suite bathrooms, two double and single rooms with a total of four bathrooms, a terrace and fully-equipped kitchen with individual living and entertainment quarters.
A fireplace, air-conditioned rooms, under-floor heating and heated towel rails make this the perfect year round getaway. The views from this eco-designed home are of grazing cattle and horses amidst the green pastures and surrounding mountains.
Activities
Groeneweide is the ideal base from which to explore the world-renowned Garden Route.
In addition of beaches close by the farm boasts the largest plugged strawberry nursery in the world! Pick your own berries in season or have a picnic next to a mountain stream.
Enjoy swimming, fishing or zip-lining in either of the six dams on the farm or alternatively go hiking or biking. If you would like to play golf our seven seater helicopter can drop you off at your course of choice!
