Every year we take a bunch of friends for a mountain bike weekend to Van Reenen area. This year was the third year and we always stay at the Green Lantern. What an awesome place to make memories that will last a lifetime ! The Hotel and staff are a special bunch and we will go back year after year not so much for the mountain biking but more for the special atmosphere at the hotel. The owners has done some awesome upgrades and we are already looking forward to going back next year. What a nice surprise. It is a little treasure trove with clean comfortable rooms, an inviting pub, amazing country fare. And all dating back to 1892.

A pleasant overnight stop with clean comfortable accomodation and good comfort food at a fair and reasonable price.
