The scenery, the silence, the trails that we walked, the break from cell phones, emails, social media, etc. We walked the Seattle trail, glad that I did not put my vehicle through this route. We understand that the trails have been driven by 4x4 vehicles two weeks before our stay, but whoever drove that trail, knew what they were doing!

The location was great - extremely scenic and tranquil.

Location location location. Couldn’t fault any part of our 3 night stay. Loved each day, exploring the walking/hiking trails, lazing in the KolKol and watching the clouds roll by.

Location is excellent if you need a complete break-away from the hustle and bustle of life. Gravel road, but it's part of nature though.

We loved that is was almost off-grid, hidden away in the mountains. It felt like a true get away. We had the Holiday Home that has beautiful views of the mountains and valleys.

Peaceful and isolated location. Great farmstay. Zero telephone reception in this area idealy for disconnecting from technology. Fire and Braaiplace place is superb 👌 No microwave or oven to warm food in Chalet. This is a proper green energy farm.

Incredible views and lost sense of time. View was incredible especially sunrise and sunset. Nice and secluded, a lot of privacy. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Location was perfect. We had a very warm welcome from the staff where everything was clearly explained to us. Nothing was a problem. Very good communication from the minute we booked until we left. Very peaceful and quiet location and was ideal for a family reunion. The stars were amazing and unlike anything we have seen. Highly recommended.

Loved this stay, from the views to the exclusiveness of the property and the KolKol hot tub, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle.

The hot tub was an amazing experience. The privacy at this cabin is the best.

This place was fabulous. Clean, well organized, good communication. if you want good disconnection from city life I highly recommend. (make sure you have a high car for the roads) it will be unforgettable time in the Karoo. great that it was no internet, good detox.

The location was beautiful. Unfortunately it rained on the night of our stay so we couldn't see the stars but all in all, it was a great experience! The lodges weren't equipped with wifi so we had to go back to reception quite often.

What an amazing spot! We stayed in the cottage which was a well maintained. The newly fitted indoor fire place was a massive hit in the cold evening. It was clean, spacious and had everything one would need for a few nights away. The staff were amazing!! Our fridge started beeping constantly and they replaced it within a few hours of us letting them know. It is a gem of a spot! We will be back!!

The Reserve is a beautiful location, we filled our weekend with Star Gazing and 4x4ing along the awesome trails! Definitely recommend going 4x4ing with friends!

Scenic and super peaceful. The hot tub is so fun and refreshing. They have wonderful walking and biking trails for all levels with some wild life to spot on foot.

A perfect weekend of long walks, peace and quiet. The cabin is comfortable and spacious. An excellent environment for young kids to go exploring. 2 days here really is a great way to recharge.
