From the pictures I was off the impression the dams are close by, walking distance, no one mentions you need a 4x4 to get there.which we did not have.husband and son were looking forward to doing some fishing. It was very cold, temperature dropped to 2 degrees that night, the underground heating system was not working so sleeping in the bedrooms was miserably cold.there were no heaters in the bedrooms.both of the hand held showers did not work which was very disappointing especially when you cold and need that good hot shower.

Beautifully modern furnished cottage, with great views. Sunset on the balcony was stunning, as was watching the zebra and buck eating the grass just a few meters from the window. Highly recommended as a getaway spot, as it is also close to the many shops/restaurants along the Midlands Meander so you can relax in comfort or spend the day sightseeing- whichever your preference.
