About Forest Chalet
Situated about 8km from Wilderness village along the Garden Route, this secluded and private chalet lies nestled in and surrounded by forest. Enjoy the peace and serenity of this unique setting while staying close to the sea, beaches and restaurants.
The chalet surroundings are beautiful and as a retreat one could spend all your time relaxing here, or use it as base to explore the Garden Route.
Self Catering Accommodation
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a King-size bed. The second bedroom has two single beds.
The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with gas stove and oven, microwave fridge and freezer. The bathroom has a shower, bath, basin, toilet and twin tub clothes washer. All rooms open onto a spacious covered patio with lovely views. In addition there is a braai (barbecue) area with braai equipment (wood supplied).
The last 400m of entrance road to the cottage is fairly rough and a pickup or SUV is recommended, however many guests have used normal vehicles, driven slowly without a problem. Alternatively you can leave your vehicle at the start of this section - safe parking is available here. On arrival and departure we will help ferry you and your luggage to and from the chalet.
Mobile reception at the cottage is limited but there are areas nearby where the reception is better. There is no internet connection at the chalet.
Free Wi-Fi is available at a number of restaurants in Wilderness village. In case of an emergency we have Wi-Fi facilities at our house.

If you're looking for a peaceful, forest escape - this would be your best bet. The forest chalet had everything we needed to feel comfortable and it provided us with the most incredible forest sounds and moments of silence. Feeling recharged.
