Nestled in the Dargle forests, Ferndene Farm is a lovely old stone and thatch farmhouse offering self catering accommodation. Here you can enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful space. This is ideal for large groups of people or families and is ideal as a base for exploring the Midlands Meander.

Self Catering Accommodation

The house sleeps 15 in six lovely rooms. Five of the bedrooms have extra length Queen-size beds and the main bedroom has a super King-size bed. We also provide three single beds that can be moved between rooms to suit your needs.

The bedrooms share three bathrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite with a shower and a bath. The second bathroom has a bath only and the third bathroom has a shower and a bath.

The house has a large living area with a stone fireplace and a wood-burning stove. There is a dining room table where you can enjoy your meals as well as a billiards / pool / snooker table.

The kitchen is spacious and has a six seater table, a pantry and is equipped with everything needed for your self catering stay.

There is a verandah which runs the length of the house and a courtyard garden with a table and chairs. The large private gardens are wonderful to stroll through.

Ferndene Farm is beautiful. The house itself is just absolutely lovely. I would definitely book again. Its great for large familys as the rooms are very spacious , and the house itself spreads out so you always have a feeling of privacy no matter how many people you are in the group. We will definitely be back !!!!
