Fairfax Cottage is a luxurious three-bedroom country retreat situated on a smallholding approximately 3 km from Nottingham Road in the Natal Midlands. Perched on a hilltop, the cottage enjoys expansive views across rolling green hills and surrounding farmland, with a spacious verandah providing the perfect vantage point.

Accommodation

Bright, spacious interiors and an open-plan design create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living areas. Large stack doors can be opened to bring the verandah into the living space, making it easy to enjoy the surrounding scenery and fresh Midlands air.

Whether preparing a meal in the well-equipped gourmet kitchen or gathering around the built-in braai on the verandah as the evening settles in, the cottage provides an inviting setting for relaxed entertaining.

Fairfax Cottage accommodates up to 6 guests in three comfortable bedrooms with two bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and a TV, and includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The second and third bedrooms each feature a king-size bed that can be converted into two single beds on request, making the accommodation suitable for a variety of group arrangements. These bedrooms share a bathroom equipped with both a bath and a shower. Ceiling fans are provided in all three bedrooms, while quality linen and bath towels are supplied for guests’ comfort.

The open-plan living area incorporates a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. A breakfast bar with stools provides a convenient place for casual meals or morning coffee.

The comfortable TV lounge includes ample seating, a fireplace and a flat-screen television. Stacker doors open directly onto the spacious verandah, allowing guests to make the most of the beautiful Midlands scenery. Outside, the patio features a built-in braai and comfortable outdoor seating, creating an ideal space for leisurely meals and sundowners.
