Nestled between the rolling green hills during summer and snow capped mountains during winter, Fairbairn Guest Farm is situated 14km outside Maclear on the foothills of the spectacular Maloti Mountains. The breathtaking scenery and fresh air provide for a wonderfully relaxed and peaceful holiday.
Accommodation
The farm consists of six spacious, self-catering accommodations surrounded by rolling green hills in summer and only a stone's throw from the snow-capped Drakensberg in winter.
Rooms are ultra comfy and all equipped with just the right amount of facilities including winter sheets and electric blankets.

Facilities
The farm house has a lovely stoep area where one can sit and watch the day go by while enjoying the bird life. Days can be spent relaxing, lazing around the farmstead or enjoy a gentle stroll through the country side. The more adventurous can explore the mountain side with San rock art and spectacular views of the surrounding Maloti Mountains.
Enjoy an evening in front of our cosy fireplace or alternatively the lapa with its inside braai area and full DStv is perfect for a get togethers while the fully equipped, big farm kitchen makes self-catering a pleasure ensuring a warm and homely atmosphere around the kitchen table.

We stayed in the Rondaval which was very well appoint. comfortable and warm. The owner was very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed including a fire to keep us warm . The breakfast was outstanding. This was our 3rd visit and we will definitely stay there again in our trip from KZN to the Eastern Cape. Highly recommended
